.pit stop hunting.

assalamualaikum everyone!

our ride on 21st to 22nd december last year.

we went hunting for pit stop/route stickers...

and food (of course!)

.hunting ground.

the route is shown in the map above.

sungkai-ipoh-taiping-penang-parit buntar-lenggong-ipoh-sungkai.

it was a 550KM trip.

route A2 was our first stop and we had breakfast here.

selera warisan abah in taiping.

we don't have much choice.

i guess they focus on serving lunch

but they have several great spots for photoshoots.

later, we went to P149 sungai bakap.

we shared a refreshing cup of coconut shake

and had a good chat with the owner.

their son is adorable!

the next few photos are locations where we stopped for stickers,

some to fulfill ejal's travel-must-haves (eye-rolling here)

and some for rest plus food!

reviews :

1. route A2 taiping: selera warisan abah...the nasi lemak was mediocre.

2. route P149 sungai bakap: coconut shake...the perfect balance of sweetness. brain freeze!

3. esplanade park, george town: hameed pata mee sotong...a 45-minute wait because of the queue but it was worth it. (because ejal was the one who queued hahaha)

4. resepi warisan bonda, route P14, balik pulau: a great spot to enjoy the sunset. so, come early!

5. restoran jamal mohamed: nasi kandar pokok ketapang...worth trying!

6. roti canai gemas road: roti bawang & roti bakar...marvelous but the place is too crowded.

7. brader's cafe, route 1 A9, parit buntar: bubble tea...too sweet for my liking.

8. pitstop route A76, lenggong: daging rusa masak kicap...disappointing. however, the daging rusa masak paprik we tapau-ed for mak abah was delish!
